Kilimanjaro climbing and Tanzania safaris from Moshi

Guided by a local team based at the foot of Africa's highest mountain in Moshi. Kilimanjaro treks, Serengeti safaris and culture tours, planned around you.

A Tanzanian company that treats you like a guest

We believe the heart of Africa lies not only in its landscapes but in its people, culture and everyday moments. Our team is local, so you get honest advice on routes, seasons, fitness and budget, not a sales script.

Every trip is built from three things: experienced guides, careful safety standards, and a fair deal for the porters, cooks and drivers who make it work.

Mount Kilimanjaro climbing routes

At 5,895 m, Kilimanjaro is the highest walkable summit in the world. Longer routes give your body more time to adjust, which raises your chance of reaching Uhuru Peak.

Planning your Kilimanjaro climb and Tanzania safari

How many days to climb Kilimanjaro

Most operators offer 5 to 9 day itineraries. A 5-day Marangu route climb is the shortest, but 7 to 9 days give you the best Kilimanjaro summit success rate because your body has more time to adjust to altitude. Our 7-day Machame, 8-day Lemosho and 9-day Northern Circuit treks are built around this.

Training and what to expect

  • Walk regularly with a daypack, and include hills or stairs in the weeks before you travel.
  • Expect rainforest, moorland, alpine desert and a cold summit night before sunrise at Uhuru Peak.
  • Consider a Mount Meru climb first as preparation for Kilimanjaro.

Best national parks for a Tanzania safari

The Serengeti is famous for its lions, cheetahs and the wildebeest migration. The Ngorongoro Crater holds dense wildlife in a single caldera. Tarangire is known for large elephant herds and baobab trees, and Lake Manyara offers tree-climbing lions and birdlife. Our Tanzania safari packages combine these parks, and you can add a Zanzibar beach extension or a Tanzania culture tour.

Frequently asked questions

Which Kilimanjaro route is best?

For most climbers we recommend 7–8 day routes such as Machame (7 days) or Lemosho (8 days). The extra days improve acclimatization and summit success.

Do I need climbing experience?

No technical skills are needed. Kilimanjaro is a high-altitude trek, so good general fitness and regular walking practice matter most.

When is the best time to climb Kilimanjaro?

January–March and June–October are the drier seasons and the most popular. Climbs run year-round.

When is the best time for a Tanzania safari?

June–October is the dry season with excellent game viewing. The Serengeti wildebeest migration moves through the year, so tell us your dates and we plan around it.
