Airport Pickup & Briefing in Moshi

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town. In the evening, you will sit down for a quick briefing regarding your upcoming 2-day safari adventure.

Arusha / Moshi – Tarangire National Park

In the morning, your guide picks you up from your hotel to start your safari toward Tarangire National Park. Covering about 2,600 km², the park features bush savannah, seasonal swamps, and giant baobab trees. It is arguably one of the best places in East Africa to see large herds of elephants that are accustomed to vehicles, allowing for fantastic close-up sightings.

Tarangire is also home to Masai giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, baboons, lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species. After an extensive afternoon game drive, you will leave the park and head to your lodge, camp, or tented accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater Floor to Arusha / Moshi

After an early breakfast and check-out, you descend with a packed lunch down the steep walls into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a full day of game viewing. Expect to see thousands of flamingos and other water birds around the soda lakes, alongside black rhinos, elephants, hippos, wildebeest, and major predators like lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards.

Break for lunch at a scenic crater picnic site before continuing with game viewing in the afternoon. Later, you will ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha or Moshi town to conclude your safari.
