The general rule of thumb for choosing a Tanzanian safari is that first time visitors focus on the attractions for the northern Tanzania safari circuit (Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Kilimanjaro, Lake Manyara and Tarangire), as these make for a very logical routing and encompass many of the highlights.
