Our 6-day wildlife safari in Tanzania is customized especially for travelers wanting an immersive encounter with the legendary wildebeest migration in Serengeti National Park alongside other world-class reserves. Spanning 6 days and 5 nights, this trip can be tailored as a budget camping safari or a luxury lodge adventure depending on your preferred accommodation style.
You will be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town. In the evening, you will meet your professional guide for a comprehensive briefing on your upcoming safari adventure.
After pickup from your hotel, we head to Lake Manyara National Park for your first game drive. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley, the park features varied flora, hot springs, and an incredible birdlife checklist with over 380 recorded species, including thousands of seasonal pink flamingos. Keep your eyes peeled for Manyara's famous tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, and baboons.
Following breakfast, depart with a packed picnic lunch for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game-viewing along the way as you traverse the stunning savannah toward your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.
Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of Serengeti, home to over 2 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. The landscape provides a true paradise for predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. From the short grass plains around Naabi Hill to the acacia-studded savannahs of Seronera, every moment offers exceptional photographic opportunities.
Enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti followed by lunch. Afterwards, journey toward the majestic Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight at a camp or lodge along the crater rim.
Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for an unforgettable game drive with a high probability of spotting the Big Five in a single day (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and endangered black rhino). Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before driving to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, visit Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds, towering ancient baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife concentrations. After an exciting game drive, return to Arusha or Moshi in the afternoon.
You will explore Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park.
