This 4-day Tanzania wildlife safari takes you through northern Tanzania’s most famous national parks. Experience the endless plains of the Serengeti, home to millions of migrating wildebeests and zebras; the magnificent caldera of the Ngorongoro Crater with its dense concentration of wildlife including the rare black rhino; and Tarangire National Park, renowned for its giant ancient baobab trees and massive elephant herds.
You will be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town. Here you will meet your professional safari guide, chef, and fellow travelers for a comprehensive briefing on your upcoming adventure.
We pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 am and drive toward Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours). Known for its iconic ancient baobab trees and the largest elephant population in Tanzania, the park offers incredible opportunities to observe elephant family interactions and spot predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
Enjoy a picnic lunch by the Tarangire River surrounded by wildlife and playful vervet monkeys. Afterward, continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will make a brief stop at the crater gate viewpoint to admire the breathtaking panoramic views. You also have the option to visit a traditional Maasai boma to learn about their unique culture.
Arrive in the afternoon and embark on a game drive in the Seronera region (central Serengeti) to experience the sunset over the endless plains and spot active predators before settling into your campsite or rest house.
Set out on an early morning game drive across the Serengeti plains to witness predators and herbivores active in the cool morning hours. Return to camp for lunch before packing up and heading toward Simba Campsite, located right near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at 6:15 am for an unforgettable game drive on the crater floor. This is your best chance to spot the endangered black rhino alongside lions, elephants, hippos, and flamingos.
After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend the crater walls and begin your journey back to Arusha or Moshi town, concluding your 4-day African safari.
You will visit Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Budget camping involves sleeping in tents provided by us with a dedicated camp cook preparing meals at designated public campsites. Lodge options provide permanent room accommodation with hotel amenities.
Bring comfortable lightweight clothing for daytime, warm fleece or jacket for chilly evenings (especially at Ngorongoro rim), sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, binoculars, and a camera.
